Our Plan for 2024
As many of our fans are aware, some changes were needed to continue fulfilling our mandate of providing the Robstown baseball games to fans across the country and around the world. For the past 13 years, the Facebook page and GoRedSport.com had been operating on a donation-based model to all baseball fans on Facebook. We have enjoyed providing this service for many years.
During the baseball playoff season of 2023, we were forced to make the difficult decision of broadcasting games through a paid platform due to licensing restrictions by the University Interscholastic League (UIL). As such, we made the decision to eliminate the donation-based model.
When we considered ways of funding our organization, a few decisions were made to support our brand, fan loyalty, and monetization opportunities. So, we are excited to introduce our plan for the new, improved GoRedSport.com and our Facebook pages.
Football
In September 2023, we decided to provide live coverage of select Robstown High School football games and created the Robstown Cotton Picker Football Facebook page.
Merchandise
We began marketing new t-shirts, clothing, and accessories to help support our network along with exclusive designs available for purchase on demand.
Playoff Game Rights
When the playoff season ended in 2023, we decided that we will attempt to purchase exclusive rights to the UIL Playoff games starting in the 2024 playoff season. We believe that, through advertisers and sponsors, Go Red Sport will have acquired the resources needed to continue to live stream the games at no cost to our fans. We believe through sponsorships and merchandise sales, Go Red Sport can maintain its commitment to broadcasting the games to as many people as possible as before without the need for a subscription.Â

In August 2023, Go Red Sport and GoRedSport.com were acquired by Red Spark Empire, founded by Albert Enrriques, Jr. and Aaron Enrriques. We believe creating an official company allows us to unlock other benefits and flexibility when operating the Robstown Cotton Picker Baseball and Robstown Cotton Picker Football pages on Facebook and GoRedSport.com. We believe that this strategic decision will only help further our goal of obtaining the necessary resources to improve and expand availability of the live broadcasts on our Facebook pages and website.
