Statement About Live Playoff Broadcasts

Dear Robstown 10th player,

GoRedSport and our Facebook page over the past 12 years has provided many Robstown Cotton Picker Baseball games for free to all baseball fans. We did that out of love for the game and love for the players and the Robstown community.  We have enjoyed many thrilling, classic games over the years. We enjoy bringing these games to you live for all to see.

Recently, the University Interscholastic League (UIL) has placed new restrictions on live video for any baseball playoff game in the state of Texas. As a result of such restrictions, UIL is now requiring licensing and other approvals to broadcast the game. In addition, UIL has made the decision that the playoff games can only appear on the NFHS Network, the UIL’s approved platform.

As a result of these new restrictions, we cannot provide live feeds of the playoff games on the Facebook Live or YouTube Live platform effective immediately.

So, GoRedSport and 364 Sports have decided to form an alliance and use our combined resources to bring you the games live through the NFHS Network. Aaron will continue to provide audio announcing for these games.

To watch the upcoming game (or any other upcoming playoff game) on the UIL approved platform, NFHSNetwork.com, you will need to pay for a subscription, currently $11.99 per month plus tax or $79.99 per year plus tax.

We know everyone was expecting free and advertiser-free live broadcasts of the upcoming playoff games but, under current restrictions, we believe this is the best way to bring the game live to you all as promised without subjecting ourselves to potential legal complications with the UIL.

We appreciate the support of all our fans and hope that you will continue to support our operation and community as we travel this new landscape.

First you must believe,
